this short documentary explores the realities of student retail work, focusing on the experiences of a fellow graduate student balancing academic responsibilities and employment during the holiday season. filmed and edited using adobe premiere pro, the project combines interview footage with observational content to construct a narrative centered on labor, time, and student life.

production challenges included lighting inconsistencies and editing constraints; however, these limitations were addressed through post-production adjustments and sequencing decisions to maintain clarity and continuity in storytelling.
